Hey Adam - I just went thru the same problem.  I downloaded about 10
differant FLI and FLC makers. The ONLY one that was any good (would make an
anim more that 100 frames) was a program called DTA (dta18-3.zip the
compresed file name). I love it. It's DOS though..  I don't remember where I
found it, but I found it by searching on InfoSeek for FLC.  If you can't
find it I can e-mail it to you.
